Berry College's only Dance Company
Continuing a student's passion for dance
The Berry College Dance Company has trained and helped students grow their passion for dance. The company prides itself on creating a space perfect for students to learn new dance skills, practice the art of choreographing, and discover more about the roots and history of dance and the variety of dance movement types. The dance company requires that students audition for the variety of dances in the concert. About 20-30 students are chosen, depending on the size of the concert and each individual dance, and choreographers and students have about 10 weeks to rehearse before opening night.Â
Students also have the opportunity to minor in dance at Berry, taking a variety of 19 credit hours that enhance a student's opportunity to grow their passion for dance.
